Songs and poems club There is a new songs and poems club for 3rd class. It is organised by students. The students that are running it are Nicole, Orla(that's me), Ailbhe, Aisling and Nicola. We are all from Ms. Duffy's class. We have been doing it for six weeks. In the third and fourth week, the third classes wrote some poems.

Christmas is fun and a happy day.
Happy and fun to see whats under your tree.
Rudolph has a red nose.
I love playing in the snow.
Santa gives you toys.
Turkey and ham are eaten.
Merry Christmas.
All children get toys.

Here is a limerick that someone wrote.


Once there was a boy called Ben.
And he had a pet hen.
One day he was walking.
His hen started talking.
And then he turned ten.
