1. Class Text-books

Various sub-committees of teachers deal with these within the school context.

Individual teachers, or sub-committee members, or agreed class-level teachers research and "test" any proposed new text-books before adopting them for class or school use.

Particular teachers who hold a Post of Responsibility each co-ordinate a subject area.

All decisions are made in accordance with Department of Education and Science guidelines.

2. Library Books

As the school has expanded rapidly in recent years, keeping pace with the amount and variety of Library books required has proved very difficult.

An annual appeal is also made to parents to donate any books from home, which their children no longer use.

The Board of Management also helps with grants towards provision of Library books.
