Hey guys! It's me! LOLLYPOP!!!!
This time I'm doing a page on Ms.Mc Givern's op art.
Op art is an art with lots of spirals, shapes and colours. Usually though, two colours work best. Because of the spirals the art looks like it's moving. It looks really great!
HOW TO DO OP ART!
First grab a piece of blank A4 paper, a pencil, a ruler and 2 colouring pencils.
Get your pencil and your ruler and mark 1 dot for every inch on your piece of paper. Do this on both the top and the bottom of your page.
Now you have to use your pencil and draw a simple squiggily line from the top dot to the bottom dot. Follow this pattern all the way to the last dot. If you still have space just continue on.
Now on the bottom left hand corner draw a circle. Using about 1 inch space draw a bigger circle around it. And then another one and another and so on.
Now it will seem as if you have a checked pattern. Colour every second square 1 colour and every other square another colour. Make sure to colour darkly!
And that's how you do Op art!!! Here are some pics of op art:
