Two fifth classes have been chosen to go to the library to meet Nicola Pierce, the author of "Spirit of the Titanic".
The two fifth classes that were chosen were Margaret Jackman's class and Anne- Marie Ryan's class.
Margaret Jackman's class will be attending Ashbourne Library on the 19th of October.
Anne-Marie Ryan's class will be going to Dunshaughlin Library on the 20th of October.
Nicola Pierce will be talking about the experience of writing the book and some of the characters in the story.
This is a fictional story but based on true events. The author has included real people in this dramatic and haunting book. "Spirit of the Titanic" is Nicola Pierce's first children's book. Nicola Pierce has a lot of facts about the book and did a lot of research.
The third class men that survived were 75 out of 462.
The third class women that survived were 76 out of 165.
The third class male children that survived were 13 out of 48.
The third female children that survived were 14 out of 31.
A lot of people rated this book 10 out of 10 which is great. Altogether Nicola Pierce wrote a great book!!!
