Hey Lua and Becky here!
The Presidential Election is on the Thursday the
27th of October and we get the day off school!!!
But because we are not able to vote yet we get to do a
fake vote and each 6th class gets to do a campaign speech
about the candidate they are supporting. They are:
Mary Davis
Seán Gallagher
Micheal D Higgins
Martin McGuinness
Gay Mitchell
David Norris
Dana Rosemary Scallon
Alex Neville represented Mary Davis.
Clodagh O'Farrell represented Seán Gallagher.
Lauryn Murray represented Micheal D. Higgins.
Brendan Foster represented Martin McGuinness.
Jack Doherty represented Gay Mitchell.
Glenn McNally represented David Norris.
Patrikas Petrovas represented Dana Rosemary Scallon.
Micheal D. Higgins attracted more of
the pupils as he came in first place.
And in the actual election Micheal D. Higgins
won as well, so he will be our new president!!!
